Much harder to bash on that.

Fixed it for ya

And a lot of them likely went to Southern, too. 04-cheers

Avocado Toast with some "cajun" seasoning is nothing to scoff at. Personally, I don't like mayo. Avocado is a worthy substitute.

Maybe in Midtown and Buckhead, that’s true. A lot of downtown on South is still pretty crummy

If you want to get really fancy, head on over to Brookhaven, where a 3bd/1bth 1100 square foot home costs $550k

Well, of course. There is a swimming pool in the neighborhood.

I was really hoping this one would make ESPN to watch the announcers heads explode when trying to figure out who beat Tennessee and who beat App State.

RE: Game Thread : Georgia State @ Georgia Southern
From my outside perspective, here is how I have seen it.

GS was always known as GSU and was the best FCS in history (though they leaned on those 6 flags forever the same way the Dallas Cowboys lean on their 1990's Super Bowls). Their fans always acted holier-than-thou on AGS. Now NDSU fans hold this mantle. Then GSU shows up, hires a has been coach but gets tons of media attention and magazine covers. Basically, more attention then most FCS ever saw other than App beating Michigan. GSU fans started showing up on AGS talking trash about how they were headed to a P5 conference and just stirring up trash talk before they ever played a snap Then they came out pretty bad and did all sorts of attendance gimmicks like the money dropped and got ridicule from everyone. At this point GS fans had all they needed to pile on anything GSU did. This lead up to the whole Paulson North banner incident. GS fans say they never cared but always trashed GSU at every point possible. But GSU fans also loved to troll GS fans.

At the end of the day I get that it isn't a historical rival like App. But outside of App, there is no one more GS wants to beat in conference, for the most part. TXST fans go through the same thing with UTSA. Some of fans, myself included, view them as our biggest rival. Others, say it's fake and too new. But our non-football sports go way back and football now sells out even when we suck. I think our fans that say it isn't real are just saying that cause we haven't beat them so they try to minimize it. GSU/GS will never be as big as GS/App but that doesn't mean it isn't a rivalry.

P.S. I think it is dumb that GS is no longer GSU and GSU should just be GaSt.

You would be shocked how uncrummy Grant Park and Summerhill are...

I was going to read this but decided to jump to end to the predictably silly conclusion.

I'd say that's entirely accurate.

Of course there are dozens of other points of contention between GS and GaSt, but I think you hit all of the major issues.

Georgia Southern envisioned itself as a solid FBS team 20 years before our administration got around to making it so. Georgia State came out of nowhere to start a team and trolled GS a year before it ever took a snap, then went straight into the toilet.

Georgia State deserved every bit of the righteous indignation it got from Southern fans when we bulldozed through them after getting to FBS. Georgia Southern fans deserved every bit of the retaliation from GaSt when the Panthers took advantage of a terrible coaching hire.

Lol...

We had to shut down a smack board because Southern always has the one or two or ten who take it a step and half too far.

So about the trolling...

Oh, ****!!! A few people from a specific fan base got carried away in crappy message board banter?!?!

Can't believe that didn't make national news.

This was amazingly spot on. Good writeup sir.

Lol...we never said we were headed to a P5 conference. The notion of P5 didn't even exist. BUT...AGS did explode when we said we would be going FBS.
