Yeah I don't think we'll see UH/SMU in a conference with ACU/Tarleton any time soon.....

UH/SMU would probably rather just put a gun in their mouths than do that.

RE: Who Is Going to Come Back?
Hypothetical what ifs.

Financial hurdles continue to escalate.

Parity continues.

Size of conference continues to matter.

Geography continues to matter.

Geography becomes more relevant.

Marketz continue to perform poorly.

Atlanta outperforms marketz.

Sun Belt continues to improve competitively over the next 5 years.

Any of this unreasonable? I say no. All likely. [/align]Where would you rather be in 5 years?

SMU felt that way about having to play home and home with UNT. It must have been especially annoying when they actually lost to UNT in 2018-19.

I would consider UH to be a bit higher in the overall pecking order, and really, the next logical one to get invited to the BigXII, if Texas would allow it.

Most of their fans would just quit
