Harvard/Yale is going into the 2nd OT. They have no lights at their (Yale's) stadium and it's getting dark....
Went with brother & SIL to the URI game and stayed with them in CT after the game, so I heard the news about the Yale/Harvard game. The game was apparently delayed about an hr when a large # of idiots rushed the field in a global warming protest (with signs protesting other stuff, too). A few doz apparently refused to leave & were 42 arrested. Then the double OT in a decrepit 60k stadium with no lights with a 4:26 PM sunset would explain how darkness threatened a game that ended around 4:40.

For those of us who traveled to URI we saw how in New England further north and east in the time zone it gets dark so early (sunset Harrisonburg about a 1/2 hr later).
Would have been funny if they hit 4-5 OTs and had to decide whether to play in the dark or not.

Week 13 CAA & Other Games of Interest
I saw that former Maine starting QB Chris Ferguson and Rhode Island QB Vito Priore have both entered the transfer portal to pursue FBS opportunities.

Don’t blame them, but doubt it really helps them find a starting role at a winning FBS program.04-rock

Both will be graduate transfers and immediately eligible. I doubt they'll end up as more than a 2nd string QB at a mid to low level G5 at best. If you can't cut it as a high end FCS QB, why would it be a better outlook at a higher level of college football?

Ah, never mind then. I was thinking Priore wasn’t a 4th yr guy, as was his 1st year starting. Course maybe they don’t move up. I’m sure there’s other I-AA that could use a 1 yr QB where they could start at that have a grad program they wish to pursue..

you'd be surprised what a better team/coaching around them could do for their level of play. Worked well for dinucci this year.

The maine kid has the prototypical size for a QB so I'm sure some big time programs are going to take a look

A little OT, I reckon, but I still keep up with the Mountaineers as a gauge of our own potential. Five minutes left in the first half, all tied with TCU at 10.

Couchburners take down TCU, 20-17, in Ft. Worth.

TCU was #34 (Massey) and WVU was #61, so that will help us (#58) out at least a little bit. Was projected as a 10 point loss, so good for them. Missed bowl eligibility by one game...womp womp.
