RE: Player and Coach of the Year Discussion
Coach of the year should be Napier. Drink took over an already stacked team and has just sustained what was already happening. Congrats App for not f’ing up the hire like “The Boyz on the Ditch” did.

POY should be Bayless and it’s should be unanimous.

Coach of the year: Guy from my team if he qualified us for a bowl.
Player of the year: Guy from my team even if the best player from my team was the punter.
Oh, and include a barb to throw at your perceived biggest threats.

Pimp away, ladies and gents.

While its is a great accomplishment to win two P5 games in a season, Drink hasn't had to play Penn State, Clemson, or Georgia.

Frankly, I think Napier should be coach of the year. I appreciate all that Drink has done this season and to date [/i]he has meet the high expectations that people had for this season, no easy task. But, I think Napier deserves credit for restoring UL to its prominence.

Fair statement until you factor in what each team is/was playing with. Last years team was, particularly the offense, was working with a full playbook all season long that they were used to. This year’s team has slowly implemented more and more of a new playbook each week.

CotY: Napier (when was the last time UL got double-digit wins in the RS?)
PotY: Should be Kaleb Barker, but won't be.

They've never had double digit wins until now.

Period.

Not sure where you're getting this from.

From cfbstats you are 5th in yards a game offense, 3rd in yards a play offense.

Rush defense in yards per rush you're second behind us. Most of your defensive stats you lead in but it wasn't an overly great year of defense in the conference.
