RE: CFB Rankings Ep. 2
And somehow, Iowa State at 6-4 and USC at 7-4 find their way into the rankings...so laughable.

Feels like they're trying to set up Boise jumping Memphis and UC after they likely play each other twice.

RE: CFB Rankings Ep. 2
Not that it matters in the big picture but I find it funny that we are the only undefeated team in the AAC and our only loss is to Ohio St and yet Memphis gets a spot above us. We beat Temple Saturday night and that ranking position will [should] flip.

For sure...they dont want the AAC to gain any ground on the ACC or Pac 12, that's the easiest way to do it.

I’m sure you guys all know why our team dropped two spots in the top 25 right?

I would like to thank the committee for giving us the extra motivational edge we'll need to go in to Memphis game.

Nothing motivates a competitor like a bit of good, old fashioned dis.

It is all irrelevant. UC vs Memphis decides it all. Until then - it is all speculation.

Memphis has 2 wins better than our best win. I think it's close enough to be debatable.

I can see Memphis ahead of us, but overall it seems the American teams are slightly undervalued compared to teams like App State and Boise.

I thought this was the motivation when I saw 4 AAC teams bunched up right next to Boise.

Maybe other American teams but our ranking is more than fair. We've beat ECU and USF recently on FG at the buzzer. We're not a top 20 team, although we can earn the ranking over the next 3 weeks.

RE: CFB Rankings Ep. 2
Think back to the pre season. The conversation was whether we would do better than 6-6. A few of you were predicting 8-4, maybe sneak into 9-3. And now look at where we are. Celebrate a little.

I love our Bearcats. We have a good team, and we have beaten some decent opponents. Unfortunately we are not an overpowering team. I really have trouble seeing us in that top 15 group (I would enjoy it, but I really can't see it.)

I like that this team keeps finding a way to win, even when we can't overpower. I like that ability to hang in there and keep fighting. A few years ago, that didn't exist around here.

I like being in that top 20. Enjoy!

RE: CFB Rankings Ep. 2
People need to remember, that the new CFP rankings are not the old BCS rankings. Style points count, which is why it is foolish for someone to say "a win is a win". The way we played against USF and ECU actually has hurt us, even though we walked away with Ws.

!

This was not the conversation. Most predictions were 9-3 or 10-2. Lowest I saw was 7-5 (bearcatjim if you want someone to make fun of). There was even a 12-0 pick.

Yeah looks like most predictions were pretty close to on the money. These last two will be the difference between meeting and exceeding expectations.

Beat Temple and win a bowl game and this season will probably keep the momentum going with 11 wins.

I’d say all American steams are slightly undervalued compared to Boise and App State.

SMU’s only loss is a one possession loss on the road to Memphis and yet Boise and App State are both ahead of them.

Memphis has a couple 3 loss teams in front of them and I think they deserve to be ahead of Iowa.

Cincinnati may not win pretty, but their only loss is still on the road to the most talented team in CFB. I’m not going to argue this one much, because overall I have concerns based on our passing game, but nevertheless they continue to win.

I think there should be more space between Memphis/UC and Boise/App State and in the case of SMU they should be ahead of those 2.

15-0. I stand by it.
