RE: APR Bowl outlook
what's amazing about this year- we only have 95 teams with fewer than 8 losses(with a few more that will drop off).

How many new bowls are we adding?

I'm telling you guys- we may not be that far away from a year that an 8 loss team goes bowling.

With multiple truly open spots to fill, it would only be necessarily so if this was a world where bowls are looking for fanbases that will travel well.

Except actually this is that world, so Liberty's going to get to go bowling.

Even if it comes down to which school can promise to buy the most tickets ... Liberty is going to win that bidding war against either EMU or Kent State.

What will be exciting is the quiz contest where teams of five players from each of the the top four APR 4-8 teams compete on geography, science, current events, and a secret "bonus" category to win the remaining bowl spot after the 7-5 APR list has been exhausted.

Army loses to Hawaii, so the dust has settled:

79 bowl eligible teams for 78 slots.

so we would have had 5 of the 14 7 loss teams going bowling. And that would be with Army- if they lose vs Navy it'd be only 13 7 loss teams.
