It looks like it almost became the Barstool Sports Bowl, but ESPN

What a massive eff up on the Mobile Bowl's side. BarStool Sports would have pimped the **** out of the bowl and any teams playing in it. LendingTree doesn't GAF about the bowl other than having their name on it.

ESPN didn't want BarStool eating into their business. I get that. Mobile isn't owned by ESPN Events but if they want to sell the game to them then I understand the decision.
