With the eye test, Stanford looks better than OU to me. However, it may just be a matchup issue.

By far the best team we’ve played so far. Hitting every shot. Stifling defense. Yes we’re sluggish but we haven’t played anyone this good yet. Yes, these guys are far better than Oklahoma (8 mins in at least).

Let’s see what Dane and the guys can do to adjust.

We’ve settled in nice ... good bench scoring ... really soft 2nd foul call on Nate ... big opportunity for Harvey ... Barnes has been quiet since his first half against Hampton.

Well I guess we knew the Nate foul trouble game had to happen eventually. Two soft calls though so that sucks.

We look tired and lethargic - not sure if travel is playing a part in that or not

RE: MBB Game 6- @ Stanford
Think we will have to put Nate back in, even with 2 fouls, if we want to hang around in this game

Stanford is playing great D but we are playing really bad offense in both half court and transition.

Getting outhustled badly by Stanford... Not something you want to see against a power conference school

RE: MBB Game 6- @ Stanford
Something I'm seeing a bit too much of is guards and smaller forwards attempting "long layups" for lack of a better term. Sort of reaching finger rolls that aren't really in those players' skillset.

Thing is though...

With what I've seen this year, I'm 100% not counting us out at this point.

Turnovers. Knight out with foul trouble. No offense rebounding. If we leave first half in single digit deficit, that’s a win. Let’s go guys!

RE: MBB Game 6- @ Stanford
We need to figure out what guards can be secondary scorers to Knight and Van Vliet... Thornton has shown that in the games he has played in so far - otherwise, nobody else really has.

RE: MBB Game 6- @ Stanford
This game is showing we cannot afford to have Knight get in foul trouble (which was obvious coming into the season). Offense just looks all out of sorts without him out there
