Grateful that no Atariwa for the 1st half next game is the worst to come out of all of that. Not pulling starters was a fiasco and Cig is to blame.

The Good:

Offense continues to be consistently strong. Props to OL, DiNucci, Hamilton (1st half), and Percy.
Congrats to Ethan Ratke in passing Abdullah to becomes JMU's all-time leading scorer!
Finally a PR TD! First of the year.
DL continues to stuff the run and pressure QB.
Decent production by URI (was expecting it to be horrific).

The Bad:

Second half Defense.
DBs struggled today.

The Ugly:

Pretty much everything to do kick-offs.
Atariwa Targeting, suspended for 1st half of 1st play-off game.
Holloway Injury.

What the hell are you talking about? We're fine. He didn't pull them for good reason.

The zebras are now doing all they can to give the game to the smelly Bisons, calling BS penalties on S. Ill.

Towson loses to Elon. They will be lucky to make the playoffs now. The CAA could see only three teams, JMU, 'nova, and Albany.

If its only three I can see Albany coming to us in the second round. Nova in contention for a possible 8 seed so I can see them get funneled to play the 8 seed if they just miss it

Saw in the post game celebration he had a cast on his pinky or ring finger on his right hand. He was waving it around though so I doubt he misses time

Holloway played early in the season with one hand in a club and tackled like a boss. I doubt a pinky finger will keep him down.

Plus we should have a bye week so that should help the whole team be a little healthier.

Cig stated in the postgame interview that a Rhode Island player spit in one our player's face twice. I also noticed he was waving some our players towards the locker room after the game rather than meeting midfield for handshakes etc. He was probably afraid things could go bad since the game got chippy several times.

Geez ... if somebody spit in my face things would go really bad. If that happened I'm glad our guys had restraint because I would have lost it. That's just totally uncalled for.

Yeah. 41-21 10+ min in the 4th you don’t pull starters.

I remember 2016 @ UNH 42-12 with 10+ min left, and the next thing you know JMU was clinging to a 42-39 lead at the end.

Only difference is UNH was a playoff caliber team while URI is 0-8 in the CAA. If our backups cant hold a 20 point lead, we have a bigger issue
