Heck, anything can happen:

I’m sure there’s a 0.0000001% chance of that actually happening, but what would have to go down?

I believe if Troy beats ULL and App State and ULM beats Coastal and ULL, then ULM and ULL would both be 5-3 in conference with ULM taking the tie breaker. However, that would only get you to the conference title game. I think Georgia State would have to win the East by App losing their last two and them winning their last two, for ULM to host.

Yep Georgia State would have to have a 4-way tie with App, Troy, and GS. App and GS would be eliminated from the tie by being 1-2 against the other 3, while Troy and GaState would be 2-1. Georgia State would then go to the title game by virtue of their win over Troy, and ULM would host with both teams at 5-3 and the head-to-head win over the Panthers.
