That said, congrats on turning our 4 missed field goals into a win.

No doubt Cincy didn’t deserve to win, but to be fair it’s hard to say a team that misses 4 FG’s deserves to win either. Maybe it deserves to be a tie, lol.

The kicker you saw tonight is actually our backup freshman kicker. Coby Weiss went 15 for 18 last year on FG's and apparently is still injured.

I'll add him to my christmas card list as well and hope he recovers.

USF deserved that one. Upside is we may have done you a favor and gotten rid of your own Coach Tubberville.

We had a Freshman last year that struggled, so I can definitely feel your pain.

We're just making excuses why we are "beating ourselves up." Only the P5 is capable of getting away with that excuse with the NCAA Committee.

Yes, that is the one positive. Even when USF was up 10, I knew they would find a way to choke the game away. Even when USF was driving with 3 minutes left in game, I knew they would find a way to lose. There was no question in my mind.

At this point, I have no pain. I am past pain, at a certain point these things don't hurt anymore. The silver lining is that now we are closer to getting rid of Strong, so for that I should say thank you.

Hey, you again. Oh my god you're in a different thread. Didn't realize cable still worked this time of year in the Great White North. Did you shoot a moose yet for the winter. Hope you don't get cabin fever. Getting to May feels like forever. Pace yourself.

Not meant to be inflammatory...honest question.

Context... Memphis, Cincy, and Boise St. all might win their remaining games.

If Memphis, Houston, and Cincy trade blows each other, losing one of either the AAC regular-season Championship, or just the AAC Championship, where does Boise St. squeak in the picture of the NY6 if they win out?

Backup kicker, backup QB, and backup on 2 offensive line positions.... if we were he healthy I think we could have won.

I do think there’s more to the story though. Strong said Coby weiss (our kicker) was injured but he was suited up and warming up on the side after the third miss

I like the two quarterback system. He does not have to start, but he probably should get some game reps.

If you want to go down the injury path, UC is without their MVP safety James Wiggins, senior guard Morgan James, the other starting guard Jeremy Cooper, playmaker RB Charles McClelland, CB Kyriq Macdonald (Alabama transfer), two rotational guys on the OL and a few others.

You guys fought hard, but in the end UC just found a way to pull it out. Survive and advance, that’s what it is all about.

Kinda think not having our kicker is a bigger deal since if we had, we would have won by 9. Coby would have hit all of those...

He was on the sideline, apparently too injured to kick. Coby Weiss would have made at least one of those kicks. He went 15 for 18 in FG's last year.

Same way UC could say if Wiggins was guarding your Tightend on that one touchdown it would've probably been picked off because he's one of the best cover safeties in college. Or UC would've been running 4 down linemen with him in because that's what he allows UC to do defensively. Or UC would've been even more dominate in the run game with the starters for the o-line and the runningback we are missing.

I mean we can all talk the what if

usf fans can at least take solace in the fact that their loss removed any remaining realistic chance of UCF sneaking into the AAC title game. Sure there is still a tiny chance, but Cincy is obviously well on their way to a season of destiny.
