I would suspect that the meat and potatoes of this thread will be a verbatim rehash of the campaign planks of the major Democratic presidential candidates.

I get indignant when people suggest someone is a communist/socialist when they aren't. Or overstate how communist/socialist something is.

It makes perfect, logical sense that communists or socialists would be more likely to join the Democratic party over the Republican party because Democrats generally favor the government having a larger role and being more active.

Odd, I get indignant when people suggest someone is a racist/white nationalist when they aren't. Or overstate how racist something is.

Common ground! Discussion in these boards would be so much better if we could all separate comments on political or special interest groups from comments on ourselves.

I'll be the first to admit it's tough to do.
