On a Monday in early November we are covered in snow here in Washtenaw County. The Footballing Eagles play tuesday in what might be a winter wonder land made for TV game against the zips. Or it may a dark cold windy empty stadium where the "E-tough" mantra will be tested by a winless kangaroo in the wrong climate.

The basketball eagles did well against the Lenawee County all-stars.. OH wrong team.. Remember when exhibition games use to be played against teams like "athletes in action"...

I'd guess the score of that bowl game would be about 10-7... Not sure who wins, but I am sure few points would be scored. Lewerke with 2 INTs and a fumble.

I actually think it would be the opposite. MSU’s defense has mailed it in...that Illinois comeback was embarrassing, and it’ll get even worse against Michigan. I can’t imagine they’d be very hungry to show out in the Quick Lane Bowl. Glass would likely have a good day against their Swiss Cheese secondary.

However, we wouldn’t be able to stop their offense. Lewerke does well when he isn’t pressured, and we can’t pressure anybody. They’d probably drop 35-40 points on us, maybe less if we can sustain some drives and keep them off the field. But nothing we’ve shown over the last month and a half leads me to believe that we would have a prayer against them unless Glass has another Illinois-like game.

Wish we could’ve got them last year when their offense was even more anemic and our defense was better. That would’ve been very winnable.

Might be cold and snowy in Ypsi, but Benny White's son, B Artis, is off to a good start. Definitely hot behind the FT line.
