I have zero expectations of a good close game.
Toledo..bad...booo...yucky...
See? I just can't get vile or crude, and i tried.
I can still get my bile up for the Rockets. They owned us for decades; beating us several times when NIU clearly had a better team.
But, I have a grudging respect for them. Saw Chuck Ealey in one of his last collegiate games. There was palpable excitement on the NIU campus before that contest. Even the Northern Star was agog with this guy going for his 30+ consecutive win.
Great post, if I remember right that might have been homecomming and we were ahead much of that game until Ealey put his team on his back and refused to let them lose.
Ealey went on to win a Gray Cup in Canada.

Toledo certainly have the best history in the MAC.
Any win against them should be appreciated.
