We've got games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday next week, so there's plenty of MACtion to go around. If you wish to separate your picks between early week/late week games, please do so in multiple posts (i.e. one post with your tuesday/wednesday picks and another with your thursday/saturday picks). Otherwise, make sure you have all your picks in for the week prior to Tuesday's game.

According to the ESPN Football Power Index, the closest game next week will be Buffalo at Kent State. So that will be our Game of the Week.

It's not quite as dramatic a story if you look at MAC-only stats which is the only thing that makes sense since the 4 games OOC are wildly different around the league. KSU's stats take a beating if you include the games against Ariz. St., Auburn, and Wisconsin. MAC-only stats: KSU is 7th, not last, in yards allowed, but is 3rd in offensive yards while UB is 8th. So it's more even than you might think. Probably should play the game.

KSU avg. about 100 yds more per game. UB giving up about 160 fewer ypg. And you don't get to throw out stats just because they weaken your argument. I don't see anyone else putting up 62 on them or on anyone else. BG plays a full MAC schedule. Their poor D gave up only 7 points to Toledo. Do you think UB will do better than that when you play them? And do you think your offense will put up a 42 point win vs. BG?

This game is a lot more closely matched than you think IMO. The ESPN matchup predictor has UB with a 55% chance of winning. That's about right. UB will be favored when the points come out tomorrow, but not by a lot.

CMU turned the ball over 5 times at Buffalo. Two of those set up easy scores, and another was a pick-six. It was the Buffalo D that really burned us. Injuries on the defense that week also didn't help. I do think Kent will struggle with the Bulls' run game, definitely.
