Welp... sometimes it helps to be lucky... which we were at the end. Good game, South Alabama. This could have easily gone either way.

Congratulations for the win. A win over a team that sucks as bad as ours is still a win. Good luck with your remaining games.

Seems like our games With y’all are always close. We were very fortunate today.
We muffed a punt that set y’all up with great field position, a FG gives y’all the win, and with a little over a minute left to play, your FG attempt is no good. Bobcats literally “hang on” for the win.

We’re glad for a win any way we can claim one, but that game today could have easily gone the other way. We were lucky, sometimes that’s enough.

The sad part is we used to have an excellent special teams under Jones Joey. Campbell has ripped that to shreds. We kick it out of bounds at least once per game, can’t hit chip shot field goals, needed 3 attempts to get a PAT, receive kickoffs then step out at the 6. This was in just 1 game, but it’s the same thing every week.

Under Joey, We could kick field goals and punt well. But I remember the kickoff team having issues with it going out of bounds or not far enough.

What a terrible game... It was like who wants to lose more. I thought we gave the game away with the muffed punt and then y'all give it away with a missed FG.
