I didn't closely follow last year's CAA awards except for ROY (which went to Hodgson). IIRC, POY went to Nicole Enabosi of UD, right? So I can't comment on whether Kamiah got the shaft last year. However, if true, then that just adds another irritation to the whole mix: that this year's award was a make-up call. So would I want a make-up call next year? Probably not -- I would hope that Eva (or whoever) means the award based on THAT YEAR's stats. The league can't keep playing "catch-up" a year behind.

I have since read that Enabosi won the POY two years ago. Bailey Greenberg of Drexel won it last year.

Yeah, I definitely see a tendency for coaches to favor the senior player despite other quality options. Like you mentioned earlier, it would be interesting to know the intricacies of the voting rules etc.
