I really don't see us favored to win the west as I thought both of the last 2 teams were better but I am thinking it is more an Indictment against the rest of the MAC than us having a great team.

Acunzo really needs to be the real deal for us to have a legit shot at the west. As it stands we really only have 4 guys that put the ball in the hole.

It is important not to overreact to the first game of the season, whether it was a good or bad performance. It’s a long season, so the first game is not the best indicator of how the team is going to perform the rest of the season.

Always have some stupid early season losses.
Losing an exhibition game to Findlay, schools like
Wright St, etc.

The announcers may be correct, this Valpo team will mature into a team better than their predicted 9th place finish in the conference. But at this point, they are by their most knowledgeable peers predicted bottom of their conference. That hardly bodes well when a team like that comes to our home court and wins.

How many days until kick-off for 2020 football Rockets. Might as well move on as this board has buried the 2019 football and now 2019-20 basketball teams. Being a Rocket fan is almost as bad as being a Cleveland sports fan. The best team is next years, best player is the freshmen backup (before the negative comments...this was sarcasm).

Valpo didn’t come to our home court and win. It was a road game for the Rockets

100% agree we really won't know what kind of team we have until Acuzno plays. Don't think he will be as good as Coach K thinks he will be but he also knows way more about him than I do.

Finally got to watch the game last night.
Saw some good things. Get rid of the turnovers, do a better job boxing out, and some improvement dlfensively. Rockets will be ok. What a difference Edu would make with this team.
