I'll be at the game on Saturday. Can't wait to sit for an NIU game where I won't get soaking wet (unless the roof leaks again) and I can root for a Huskie team where they may have a chance to win (may have to wait until I get to a women's game, though).

Right. According to pre-season poll at mvc-sports.com, UNI is picked for third in the MVC.

UNI plays a highly ranked Old Dominion team at the Panther's home court tonight. I will try to post some info on UNI after tonight's game.

I sure hope my fellow fans that have sat in my section for years show up. With last year's usual meh games, they sort of fizzled out towards the middle of the MAC games and stopped coming. They'll want to be back this year to see some rockem' and sockem' basketball that will earn Monty another extension!

I take it back, I got odu confused with vcu, as odu is #145 whereas NIU is ranked #141 by KenPom. It should give us an idea how we will stack up against the Panthers however.
