I think that there is now even more motivation for AppState and ECU to show off their product in a FULL BofA stadium to show up the Clemson/Ga game.

In terms of actual attendance I agree. If the game is actually going to be in both schools season ticket packages then I don't think it affects the tickets sold quite that much, but it kills the butts in seats number.

Good point, haven’t considered season ticket holders, still this stinks, 45,000 plus very vocal APP and ECU fans would look great on ESPN, and would be a blast for the fanbases

It's written into the contract with ECU. It's added to the season ticket package at a negotiated price. ECU keeps the first $100k, then 50% goes to App.

Per our AD it was supposed to be a part of the season ticket package but because of the date being moved it no longer will be.

So yeah I'm now unfortunately expecting a pretty stinker crowd out of ECU, which makes me sad but it is what it is.

Both schools deserve better, but like you said, it is what it is.

Thursday Night in Charlotte. Both App and ECU have a large number of fans and alumni within an hour to two hour drive of Charlotte. Should still be a good crowd though it won't approach the 50-60,000 k a lot of people were expecting for a Saturday game.
