Hard to tell against this level of competition but this freshman class looks VERY good. Santucci is simply dominating the game at both ends and we look deeeeep! Quinesha Lockett looks like the next big Rocket star and is one of two frosh starters. 65-41 right now over an out gunned but well coached Findlay team.

I look forward to seeing the team on the 9th. We should be deep. I just think we have depth and talent to make a run in Cleveland come March. Sure, it’s a long ways away and we’ll have periods where I have my doubts but I think Cullop has put together a talented roster that can go 10 or more deep which will be helpful as the season wears on...

A Rocket team with depth? What’s that?

Tyra and Lance won’t see the floor much and there may be a redshirt guard from the frosh. Everyone else looks like a contributor. Whether we’ll USE that depth is hard to say. We looked very quick at the top and we’ve got a grad transfer who started for Tenn-Chat who is a load in the middle, if not particularly polished. My only concern was Beecham disappearing for some stretches while flashing some serious athleticism at other times. If she can be consistent and stay on the floor we might contend in the West.

I figured Tyra won’t play much. Haven’t seen the team in exhibitions so I’m guessing Lance gets zero playing time. Looks like the 2 wadsworth recruits were a waste of a scholarship. I know the board wasn’t high on either one when they signed with UT.

Considering what the program has to offer, the recruiting has been very uneven. Perhaps the two newer assistants have made a difference with the current freshman class and the 2020 class.
