Great news for our men's basketball program! This was a great intellectual move from Jr. and McCaw to enable our program to become a future national powerhouse. The Gonzaga of the East is not much of fantasy now. May the Lord use this for His glory!

It's great but it shouldn't keep him from leaving for a power school. Also, everyone gets an extension after making the NCAA tournament (Dale Layer included). And a coach won't turn down a raise.

We have light-years to go to be Gonzaga of the east. We aren't even St. Mary's or BYU.

Not sure if you've looked at his interviews, but it's not about the money with McKay. If it was, he would've left last year and this year with the offers that are P5 schools(will not disclose who for reasons). As for The Zags of the East, I didnt mean next season or even a couple seasons from now. It doesn't have to be light years away either.
