ESPN's camera work
What is up with ESPN's camera lenses covered with water droplets the entire game. Surely they have had camera's outdoors at other games with inclement weather.
Is it too much to ask to wipe the lens with a dry towel, or maybe put a hood over it. Much of the telecast looked like we were watching in a carnival mirror.

But we're on TV and that's all that matters apparently.

ESPN's camera work
It was rainy and windy. Rain was hitting the camera like it would on your windshield. The lenses would get wet as soon as they’re wiped. They have a covering on the cameras, but some of them are not under a shelter. Since the cameras don’t have windshield wipers for the lenses, we get what we got. The weather conditions were deplorable. Gotta cut them some slack.

Where can I watch the highlights or rewatch the game? I have an ESPN + subscription but cannot find any highlights. I missed chunks of yesterday's game

You can go to ESPN+ and, if you have a subscription, you can scroll down to conferences. The game will be there, but the NIU feed is not working for me right now. The Toledo and Ohio games work fine though.

I thought that NIU supplied the video production for these games. Were those NIU cameras, or ESPN's?

So we're killing our attendance playing on weekdays to suck up to ESPN, and our thanks is the same camera package as an FCS program. Yay?

RE: ESPN's camera work
I've watched lots of games on TV where it rained and never had more than a temporary issue with rain on the camera lens. If we're going to be on ESPN we should be able to see the game.

Wiping a few rain drops away is the least that ESPN could do for destroying the MAC fanbase

The plummage has nothing to do with it.
It's bleeding demised, it's passed on, it is no more, it has ceased to be, it's expired and gone to meet its maker, this is a late parrot....it's pulled down the curtain and joined the choir invisible.
