If SMU is so high in the polls and had to go OTs to beat this Tulsa team at HOME, why would we be punished for beating them on the ROAD regardless of the way we looked?

And yes, with that said, this is the first time after the game was over I actually felt like we lost even though we won. Brain not working right? I just felt.........dumbfounded. Did not want to post until this morning because it was so surreal.

Kicking from the hash the shorter ones are the most difficult. You have a more difficult angle. QB should have centered the ball with a run on third down.

I still feel bad for him but he's young, he has plenty of time to make even worse mistakes which will have more consequences than losing a game. IOW's, he'll have worse days.

That and the tick tack PI calls on us. One kept a drive going for them. The other was an uncatchable ball thrown out of the end zone.

Their kicker went 5/5 on extra points

2/5 on FGs with two misses and one block

Means they scored 5 TDS and had 5 FG attempts and still lost

Their defense was not so good either. They also were plus two in turnovers.

I wanna see our tigers WIN the conference regular season and host and WIN the conference championship game. Those goals are still there to be had...... If we can win out.

As fans, we gotta bring our "A" game next saturday and help our team out. No excuses for not having a more energetic crowd than we had for ole miss to start the season. This next game is way more important. Go Tigers Go !!!

Lady Luck was on our side.. Tulsa deserved that game, but we will take it.. Defense needs to find its heart because that was terrible!!
