I have hope that the Rockets will figure it out before the season's over, but whatever has ailed them 2 weeks in a row now won't be fixed in 1 week of practice, particularly against a foe who is looking every bit your equal. Rain probably helps us out a little bit, maybe keeps the game tighter, but I still say EMU wins, 21-14.

Anything greater than a 14 point loss accompanied by a continued lack of enthusiasm & focus on the part of the team and staff, and you might as well just mail the rest of the season in.

I think alot of people are going to be very surprised to see exactly which Rocket team shows up this week!

I will support this team no matter what. Yes the last two weeks were a downer, but we have a new week and an opportunity to right the ship. Sagarin rankings has UT at #91
and EMU at #109. Rating for UT is 62.84 + 2.52 = 65.36. Rating for EMU is 60.91.
65.36-60.91 = 4.45. UT wins by at least 4. Hopefully Sagarin got it right this week.

Ball State and these dudes went toe to toe, while BSU put 52 on us... Nothing is impossible.

Which is why I predicted they put 38 on us...

Rain and win means you have to run the ball. UT has been able to run block since Western Michigan. Toledo couldn't prevent the run last week either. EMU 42-Toledo 14

They don’t typically run the ball much, so hopefully we will have the advantage in the rain and being at home. If you have been watching the OSU/WISC game, that is what it is probably going to look like. Stay dry and warm folks!

We badly need to turn this thing around. Good guys 28, EMU 21. We should win if our defense has a decent game AND the offense keeps it SIMPLE with Peters in the rain. If the defense isn’t better than last week, or we don’t keep it simple, EMU 31 UT 13.
