Furthers my viewpoint that Huggy and WVU blocked Teddy Allens waiver. Kid might still be at WSU if he was allowed to play last year.

previous schools approval is the biggest deciding factor

Congrats! Honestly, I thought the chances of approval was slim. It gives me hope that Stokes will be allowed to play this season.

Kansas ran him off. Exactly how the waiver is supposed to work.

Grimes averaged 8.4 ppg and 2.5 rpg in 36 games while hitting 38.4% when with the Jayhawks.

Honestly, this is the least sympathetic I've been to a player transferring. Of course, I'm of the opinion scholarships should be 4 year guaranteed barring injury and don't think Kansas should be able to run off former McDonalds All Americans.

in the last 5 games he played in about 80% of the minutes(so 3 Big 12 tourney and 2 NCAA tourney games).

Free throw shooting has to improve- only 60%.

93.6 off rating for the season in KP. 90.1 vs tier A teams.

lol i actually i heard a rumor from someone close to grimes, that a few of the kansas players hated each others...that they werent close at all..but that the coach actually really liked grimes and knew the enviroment wasnt good for him, thats why he wanted to support him in getting the waiver

lol the "no room" comment is questionable to everyone who follows ku as they had to pick up 4 players after grimes left..and there is an interview with self saying he wanted grimes back a week before he decided to transfer...
but ill take it however it comes

It's going to be fun watching Cincy, Houston, Memphis, and WSU battle it out this season...I also expect to see UConn and USF continue to improve as well.

I wish the conf tourney was in Memphis this season lol
