I'm as surprised by the final score of this game as anyone here, but we needed that one and thank God we pulled it out in the end.

Am I the only one in this thread that thought UNCC could win? I just watched the last quarter and some how I knew UNCC was going to make a play on that last drive.


I see Slowjoe is now talking about firing the UNT coach...5 million buyout! What did I say...looked like ULL when they paid their coach more than they could afford to buyout....after not really winning anything. UNT was bidding against their self in that raise to 1.8 million. BTW that wasnt sour apples for that UNT could pay 1.8 million. Most Western fans know this was my opinion over the last 4 or 5 years on paying any coach that type of money

If you go look at this week's pick'em's, I selected Charlotte to win this game. Of course once we started with a big lead, I did think we have a good chance of holding on to it. I should have known better.

After what I've seen this season, I'm ready for a change. But I know the university won't go that direction. Not yet at least. Just don't be surprised if their are some new coaches on this staff next season.

You always have a decent HF advantage when the other team has to travel 1,000 miles across time zones.

I concur. This average flight time from Dallas to Charlotte is 2:15. These are college aged kids not Grandpa flying in for the holidays.
