[] Last week

This week put a lot more clarity on who will win CUSA.

1. La Tech [3] undoubtedly first after win over USM
2. WKU [4] find out if they are for real this week
3. USM [1] very surprised La Tech beat them by 15
4. UAB [5] easy win over ODU
5. Marshall [8] Big win over FAU
6. FAU [2] Big fall after loss to Marshall
7. NT [6] Won battle of mediocre teams over MTSU
8. MTSU [7] Lost by last play field goal
9. FIU [9] Beat super bad UTEP
10. UTSA [11] Beat winless Rice
11. Rice [10] Chances for a win are running out
12 ODU [12] Non-competitive against UAB
13 Charlotte [13] Maintained position losing to WKU
14. UTEP [14] A 2 point win over Houston Baptist may be the highlight of the season

Shouldn't USM fall much lower than just 2 positions?

Not if they think USM is the 3rd best team.

The only reason I asked is to make sure that they realize USM lost by 15.

It was a closer game and not decided until the Pick 6 late in the 4th Q

Yeah, that's not gonna happen chief. At least Fine will know better than to throw the ball in Amik Robertson's area code though.

LA Tech 45 > USM 30
USM 45 > UNT 27

That's not how it works, though...
The common denominator is that the winner of those two games were at home, and Tech is at home vs UNT. UNT did sneak a 1-2 pt win two years ago, but that was the worst year, performance/results-wise, by Tech since 2013. I'm hoping we'll continue the streak against a regressed UNT team, but that's why you play the game 03-wink

There's nothing more dangerous than a talented team --like UNT-- licking its wounds and looking for some way to salvage something good from a otherwise disappointing season. Make no mistake, LA Tech will be UNT's Super Bowl game next week, as the Mean Green tries to pick up the pieces of a bad season......

I'm telling ya, LA Tech better bring its' "A" game to this one.....
I actually see the game vs UAB to end the season as the "super bowl" for UNT. I see them as 5-6 and needing the win to get bowl eligible, like that 5-6 SoMiss team we underestimated in 2016 03-wink

Odu should absolutely be at the bottom. This is a terrible season for us and hopefully we make the necessary changes.
