Ohio State vs. Ole Miss -- Ohio State would be about a 3 touchdown favorite
UCLA vs. Louisiana Monroe -- UCLA would be at least a 2 touchdown favorite
Marshall vs. South Alabama -- Marshall would be about a 2 touchdown favorite
Miami (OH) vs. Southern -- Miami would be at least a 2 touchdown favorite
Even though La Monroe lost to FSU by a missed extra point and UCLA got crushed by 2 TDs to Oregon State? I doubt if UCLA, as bad as they are, would be favored by 2 TDs over anyone, even at home. Sure they beat a very bad Stanford team for their only good win, but they are anything but good. Marshall wouldn't be 2 TD favorites over anyone either. I get your point though.
UCLA is Sagarin #60.
Temple is Sagarin #77
I would also say UCLA's win over Washington State should qualify as a good win.
What does crap Sagarin ratings or Temple have to do with what I wrote? Nothing! I'll address what you wrote however, since you can't afford the same courtesy. UCLA gave up 63 points to an overrated Washington State team, one who lost 3 in a row. UConn could have lost those same 3 games in a row and their coach may even have received bonuses as a result.
EDIT: I can use crap ratings too. RPI has Temple at 42 and UCLA at 110.

Said it before will say it again, Sagarin is horse poop. Way biased towards P5.

Well, the on field index/matrix/rating has Temple absorbing a double digit a$$ whipping at the hands of mighty Buffalo... a week after mighty Buffalo got scorched by that juggernaut that is Liberty.
So there.

RE: Rank the AAC after week 8
This thread cracks me up every week. People lose their minds caring what some hill jack fan of "AAC team" thinks about if you team is 4th best or 6th best. Hell, sports writers F'ed it up and they are paid to watch/comment on sports.
This is why I miss the smaller conferences like the old BE. Play everyone and have a true champion!
There is so much parity in the top 6-7 teams in this conference, it is hard to rank them with any certainty.
That said, go back to loud noises and yelling at each other. It is entertaining.

I was comparing Cincy and Memphis, in response to the Cincy/Memphis post, yet Cincy posters can't get off the Temple team. They must be in your head somehow because you still have to play them, knowing that your QB is nowhere near SMU's QB.
Temple is, and has been, and Jeckle and Hyde team for a couple of years now. Beating teams like Memphis and losing to teams like Buffalo. It's not much of a benchmark using Temple as your barometer in comparing UC/Memphis.

Hey guys, Cincinnati plays Memphis on Nov. 29. Then we will know. Heck, they may play again the next week.

I prefer arguing about the bottom 6.

Wow.
Yeah. No lie. There are hundreds of legitimate reasons.
Great point
I’d like to hear hundreds of legitimate reasons to have Houston and USF clear and way separated above ECU. I can buy Tulsa, but to have Houston and USF as clear far and away better than ECU you’re basically saying ECU will lose to UCONN in CT.

That's an odd reading of it. Uconn isn't beating anyone in this conference. I think my placement of them relative to everyone else makes my position on that abundantly clear.
Houston's win over north Texas / their competitive game against Washington state are more impressive than anything ecu has done.
Likewise USF's win over byu is the same. I also like the talent on those 2 rosters more than ECU. I think there is clear separation. That doesn't equate to "clear and far away" but it's enough to separate the tiers.
