The weather and the opponent. A 1-5 team that most Bham football fans didn't even know played football.

Only have UTEP and La. Tech left for the home schedule. I think we could have a great crowd for La. Tech since if we beat USM on the road it will be two teams battling to lead the West standings. It will also be the last home game of the year. I can't remember ever seeing us have a good crowd for UTEP.

Our 3 worst attended games since TheReturn have been:

November 25, 2017 - UTEP (0-11) - 14,505
November 3, 2018 - UTSA (3-5) - 17,605
November 4, 2017 - Rice (1-7) - 21,224

All November games against Texas schools with bad records when we played. Part of why I hate playing in the West division.

Wilder also came to UAB as a walk on. I think Brasher is now a scholarship player.

Considering the conditions before the game, I’m pleased.

We're 6-1 and I don't feel like we have underperformed as a whole considering the amount of players we lost from last year. Of course I'm wishing we had that WKU game back as it gives us near no margin of error to get back into the Championship game.

Here comes the hard part of the schedule.

Mystery of the week. Who is Paul Hammonds? Shows up in the ODU game stats as #49 with one sack for UAB. Havent seen him on a UAB roster.

Was anyone else beat after the game? That rain really took it out of me. I think I was asleep before 9pm.

Deserved or not our attendance for this game is getting slammed by a couple of posters on the Conference Realignment Board.
