VB: Rice’s 37-game CUSA game unbeaten streak
Our last loss was Nov. 10, 2018.

Since then, the Rice Women have combined on a 34-game streak of conference games without a loss, across the three team sports of Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer.

FIU beat the Rice VB team 3-1 in the last match of last year’s regular season. Since then,
Rice VB won the CUSA tournament (3-0)
Rice WBB won the CUSA regular season (16-0)
Rice WBB won the CUSA tournament (3-0)
Rice Women’s Soccer has started the current season unbeaten (4-0-2)
Rice VB has started the current season unbeaten (6-0, all 3 game sweeps btw)

That’s 49 weeks so far.

We’re obviously not running away with Soccer, we’re in third place but we did shut out First Place Charlotte 1-0. Nationally ranked Volleyball is headed for a showdown with nationally ranked WKU. And while this streak probably won’t survive to basketball season, MTSU has some highly rated recruits coming in to challenge the Owls’ experienced returning lineup...

Not bragging... just some fun trivia 03-wink

Hella nice run.

Smart good female athletes easier to find than smart good male athletes no? Lol. Just kidding. That’s an impressive run.

Don’t worry about Middle’s womens hoops. They still have Mr. Haney from Green Acres coaching them.

That's a great run.

I judge the quality of volleyball teams based on pictures. Please post pictures.

Rice’s 34-game CUSA game unbeaten streak
Two more wins this afternoon makes it 36 games.
Volleyball swept LaTech on the road, Soccer shut out WKU at home 1-0.

Rice’s 36-game CUSA game unbeaten streak
Rice soccer won on the road last night by a 4-0 count (half the goals coming right out of the gate in the first eight minutes).

That runs the unbeaten streak to 37 games.

Next up tomorrow (Sunday) women’s soccer heads over to play at FAU, while volleyball hosts FIU.
