Liberalism/Leftism won everything there is to win, and Conservatism/Rightism lost everything there is to lose. 2A is the only exception, and that’s hanging by a thread.
Which makes one think that Liberals/Leftists should be in a cheerful mood, but instead they seem very bitter and angry. Oh, well.
Neither Trump nor his family nor his camp-followers are “conservative” in any sort of programmatic/ideological sense. I would describe them as fighting for Nationalism (rather than Conservatism), and fighting against Globalism (rather than Liberalism).
