It must've been the GT win over Miami that got him. I'm surprised it took 2 days to take effect. 07-coffee3

I still say losing to GT in Atlanta last year pushed him into retirement too.

Given his 24-3 record against GT in his coaching lifetime, I was okay with that.

Still, glad he's okay.

IMHO, a working stiff is in the "Rat Race" who needs to continue to work to survive or is trapped into thinking he/she has to continue plugging along in the drudgery.

Mark Richt has been well paid for nearly two decades who has people doing things for him. He has had more than enough money to have quit years ago.

C'Mon .. bringing earnings into the picture??

Because the stress involved with a $15 an hour gig, with basically no one watching over your shoulder, is equal to a multi-million dollar gig, with hundreds of thousands of people watching over your shoulder, criticizing every misstep you make.

Glad he's ok, and realizes he needs to take better care of himself.

Perhaps that's why Proverbs 30:8 concludes:

Quote:Give me neither poverty nor riches.
Just let me consume my portion of food,

There is certainly truth in that.

I wish him all the best in his future endeavors and I hope that none of those involve the ACC Network.

There is also some truth in that as well.
