I’m planning on coming up to BG to watch MT and Western. Hopefully it will he close like it’s been the last few times, and not the cakewalk you think it might be.

Admittedly... based on our play so far, I wouldn’t be surprised either way.

We did not overlook them. We beat them this past Friday night ending Florida Atlantic's 21 match home win streak.

WKU has now been ranked in the Top 25 eight of the last nine seasons. We have received votes each of the last 10 seasons.

Coach Travis Hudson's volleyball teams are easily the most consistent winning program at WKU. He has done an outstanding job building that program with outstanding student athletes both on and off the court.

Texas swept Baylor last night in 3 easy games, so no teams are undefeated anymore in the country. There are 8 teams with just 1 loss and CUSA is the only conference in the country with two of those 8 in Rice and WKU. The others are Baylor (Big 12), Pittsburgh (ACC), California (Pac 12), Colorado State (MWC), South Dakota (Summit? not sure honestly), and SFA (Southland). Rice's loss was to SFA, but the Owls now have the best win in the country of all of those 1-loss teams since we beat Texas (or possibly Baylor since they beat Big 10 leader Wisconsin).

clt says this conference seems to be getting better at Olympic sports.

Charlotte is 13-11, and 2-5 in conference. Our coach is in year 5. She probably shouldn't be buying a new car or house right now. I imagine Mike Hill is already scouring the SEC for an assistant that is ready to move up--or JMU for their head coach (the training ground for G5 coaches).

Rice now 17 and WKU now #22. They play Sunday in Houston with the regular season title on the line (technically UNT is still in the race too, but they'd have to see a few big upsets occur for that to happen). Both teams are in very good shape for the NCAA's regardless of Sunday's match outcome.

I went to the UAB-WKU game. That was a lot of fun for the first 15 or so points when UAB came out with a good gameplan, but then talent took over. WKU has a beastly squad.
