RE: UConn 2020 Schedule?
Hey, I hope it works out for UConn. I think it's been decided we're going to play hoops but I'd also like to see Memphis football reach out to BYU and UConn for home-home series. 'name' Indys would be better than Belt squads such as South Alabama and UL Monroe to me. You're doing it right by paying your fair share to leave so other than wanting to see my Tigers beat UConn twice this hoops season on your way out the door...I wish you well :-)

It will be interesting how UCONN season tickets look in 2021 forward.

If they are losing, worse than now.

If they are winning, better than now.

The question will be what the ceiling is when you win 8-10 games and like BYU look forward to the potato bowl. There is a limit on how far Independence can carry you a glass ceiling that only one independent team does not experience.

BYU and Army despite their history and prestige know it though one denies it the other is honest and schedules two FCS's each year.

Liberty, UMass, and NMst show you the floor, teams desperate to secure any bowl for a winning team regardless of its total win count. It's a dark basement, and a drop down ceiling that let's you see a nice view but never interact with it.

It's a strange place to buy when you have a struggling program with a short history. It's not much of a gamble though, they can hang on if they want and dream of cracking that glass ceiling. Basketball is what counts though so they are depending on a strong Big East to bolster them, that's the real gamble, in a league that has mostly been Villanova and the nine dwarfs. If that gamble pays off, it's worth the long trips to Nebraska, and Chicago/Milwaukee, playing a Butler program they have little history with to get back St.Johns, Georgetown, Seaton Hall and MSG for five days.

It's what they want.

Much like other fanbases on here it doesn't have to make sense. That's why we're called fans, we're fanatical past reason, or faith, we are well into belief because. ... fill in the blank.

* As opposed to long trips to Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, Tulsa, Wichita, Orlando, and Tampa...
