MAINE
I feel a lot better about this game than I did four weeks ago. Maine is struggling this season and we are winning. I was gonna say rolling, but the offense hasn’t so much been so the last couple weeks. Regardless, I expect a comfortable win over Maine this coming Saturday. Comfortable enough to get some good playing time for our reserves.

Prediction:
17 - Maine
49 - Liberty

Attendance: 16,500
I have also decided not to get spun up about attendance. I don’t really care anymore. It is what it is. And to be honest, it doesn’t even matter. I am just gonna appreciate the product on the field, the great game day experience that Liberty puts on, and remember that Liberty plays for a purpose, and that purpose isn’t “let’s see how many fans we can draw.” If that becomes the purpose than we’ve lost sight of who we are.

A win Saturday would put us right where we thought we’d all be for the season correct. 5-2 sure sounds good right now.

Keep winning and they will come.
Yes on 5-2. LU is 1-1 on my prediction of unknown games.

RE: MAINE
I think the offense gets back on track after the break.
42/13 Liberty.

Regarding attendance, it is homecoming, we will not have had a home game for 20 days, and we are finally getting into the 60s for temperature - which just feels right. Plus, this is practically our last home game of the season, since the next is on 11/30 on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and students won't even be back. I'm hoping this all adds up to cracking 19k.

03-lmfao If it’s like last year, you’ll be lucky to have 3-5K fans in the stands for the NMS game.

I am planning on making it for the NMSU game. It’s only about 2 1/2 hours from my family in NC. So I’ll make the day trip up. Anyone else planning to go? As far as Maine, I’ve got Liberty 38-20.

I agree with this. The bye week came at a good time. I don't feel like it hurts our momentum. In fact, it looked like we have been running out of steam.

As for attendance, I am looking for progress on an annual basis more than a weekly basis. We need to get better if we want to keep improving our program and to be taken seriously by recruits and conferences. Who has the largest attendance numbers but isn't in a P5 conference? BYU?

Last year top 3 G5 was:

BYU- 52k
UCF- 44k
USF- 38k

Anything over 30k would put us in a very small group of G5 teams doing that. The smallest P5 attendance was Kansas at a little over 19k.

I love that we came out against guns blazing after so many slow starts in a row. Also love us manhandling an interior opponent as we should.
