I want to get mad at you for this prediction, but it’s in Jonesboro so it is actually what I think too.

Appalachian State will roll.
Army goes rolling along.
Troy wins big.
GaSo starts to right the ship.

Can Georgia State stop the option? It's a shame you didn't get a bye week heading into it.

State probably has prepared a good bit for an option offense since GaSo is in the same division and they knew Army was on the schedule this year too.
Don't forget we played Furman this year as well.

Completely different scheme.

Lots of teams run concepts similar to ours in their base offense, we just do some different things with it.

Hardly anyone uses veer concepts and attacks the defense like Army does. They are extremely unique. That said, they are not performing at the level they left off at last year, we'll see what happens going into this game.

Don't remind me. That Furman option offense was darn frustrating to stop. Couldn't tell where the ball was between the RB1, RB2, QB, and sometimes WR. Pretty sure 3-4 guys on our defense couldn't see who had the ball every play. Also that QB played so calmly and efficiently, I couldn't believe he was a redshirt freshman. He threw the ball right on the money with pressure in his face. When pocket collapsed and no WR seemed open, he instantly became another RB to scramble for at least 5yds.

I think ULM will do well against App State despite being 14.5 point under dogs, at App State, and having 3 loses.

Agree, ULM qb is the most physically talented qb in the conference, he can make throws others can’t I think he keeps them in the game longer than we hoped.

With all the Sun Belt teams thinking they are the best it is going to be hard for App State to win 03-wink (LOL)

Ellington is ridiculous and I already thought Arbuckle was ridiculous.

RE: Week 8 Sunbelt Projections
Week 8 SP+ Picks (Pick in bold)

USA/Troy -15
Projected Winner: Troy 15.2 (whew that's close)

Louisiana -6.5 /stAte
Projected Winner: Louisiana 2.9

Coastal/Georgia Southern -6.5
Projected Winner: Georgia Southern .7 (lol fml)

ULM/App -14.5
Projected Winner: App 18.4 (Projected 31-18...I'd be interested to see App hold ULM that low with how effective ULM can be throwing the ball)

Army -6.5/Gast
Projected Winner: Army 11.4 (Apparently WKU isn't dumpster trash this year, and Monken has a tendency to have a wtf game every year, so this one will be interesting. Although Army has been running less pure veer these days, I'd expect to see a heavy dose of it in this game...more unique compared to us and Furman)
