They have loses at Oklahoma, at Tulane, Washington State, and Cincinnati.
It wouldn’t shock me if they beat SMU, Navy, and Memphis at home. They have talent still.
Holding them back is a HOG!
I think King and the WR going RS because the year started tough is quitting and a good coach would say Transfer.
I think Holgorsen was involved in their decision to redshirt.
What does that say about Hogs?

That it's his first year at Houston and he thinks they could have a special team next year with an opportunity for a big season.
I think it's kind of incredible that he's gotten these guys to buy into setting up for next season at this point. It makes a lot of sense given where they were and the issues they needed to address

Watching their offensive line Saturday I understand King's decision. Just speculation but I feel we would have stopped Kings running and won this year even if he had played. If he returns next year with an improved team it could set up a featured game at Nippert if they are on our schedule.

I honestly don't like it at all. You go into a season with your teammates and try to have a great season. If you get hurt I can see not pushing to come back but to just decide to redshirt because they're not good this year is wrong. Seniors on that team still want to fight to go out in a bowl game and their starting QB bailed on them with the blessing of the coach. Just completely wrong for me.

If I were a senior I’d be pissed.
