#14 NU visited #10 Providence Friday night and lost 3-2.

NU got outshot 38-23 but got another goal by Tyler Madden.

Looks like we're going to continue to score goals until our freshman finally gets their bearings.

The two teams meet at Matthews Saturday night. NU is 6 points out of 1st place behind UMass-Lowell in Hockey East, but it's still early.

Tyler Madden has really been excelling. He's better than last year, and seems like he gets better every game. I thought he'd be gone after his junior year here, but he keeps this up and Vancouver might be calling him up this March. If anything, it'll be his size that will prevent the Canucks for bringing him in early.

Right now he’s to small to play in the NHL, which is why I think he will return for one more year.
