Please realize how hard it is , and more importantly that year in/out it is NOT realistic!
NIU does not get 2-4 ranked teams every year on the schedule.
We are lucky if we get just 1 ranked team.
Then the opposition team must win out, and the ranked teams need to lose to unranked teams for us to get ranked.

Even Rod Carey at Temple with 2 ranked wins , 5-1 is not ranked in the AP pole.
A win next week, with some top 25 teams losing might get him ranked again.
For Temple and NIU fans , I hope it happens soon.
Remember Temple is in a league with 3-4 teams being ranked at one point.
