RE: CAA Basketball Preseason Poll
You have 2 teams with senior backcourt/wings in Hofstra and Northeastern with size so I understand them up there. C of C has 2 seniors that are good too with Riller and Miller so they will be there too. Delaware will be tough with Goss(sr) and 2 good juniors with Painter and Anderson. I understand why they are all picked high. Veterans are huge. Hawks don't have that yet, but we will see.

All in all it's not shaping up to be a stellar CAA year but you never know? That's why they play the games. There are no clear cut paper champions yet. NE all else equal will be tough to beat but all 4 have a good shot at it.

However, I can't put them above CofC and Northeastern. Also, I saw where two out of five writers from Mid Major Madness picked Towson to win the conference (the other 3 picked CofC). Fobbs is a great player but I can't see him carrying them to the title.

I wonder how many teams other than Towson you could find predictions of winning their conference and finishing in the bottom half! Towson didn't lose much. Fobbs shot better than average, but not at an elite level. His 5.9 rebounds were great for a guard. Tobias Howard led them in assists, but his 1.08 assists per turnovers was very bad for a team leader in assists. He didn't shoot well, and his 1.9 rebounds are very low even for a guard. Nakye Sanders fouled out 11 times while averaging 22.6 minutes. He led the CAA in foulouts with as many as the next two combined, as Darius Banks fouled out 6 times, and Devontae Cacok fouled out 5 times.

Probably because Pat Skerry has under achieved with every talented team he has had. Yes he brought the program back from the Pat Kennedy era when they were one of the worst teams in D1. I remember the year when we lost to Towson to snap their 41 game losing streak.

One day left and we can get on from all the unknowns and see what we have.

This is a make or break year.
