Why isnt this enforced? Trimming the fat and getting these school to FCS where they belong would help FBS G5 overall. Maybe that's why it isnt enforce.

I think it's just too easy to get around. It's only every other year they have to meet the minimum and when needed the school or corporate partners can buy discounted tickets to reach the magic number. So I don't think that it's that it's not enforced it's that the rules are written so that it's too easy to get around.

It’s ignored because it would be a massive headache to enforce.

Not so sure FAU and FIU are actually taking Usm recruits but it doesn't help. Neither does low attended Charlotte and ULM, among others. Get to FCS where you belong.

It's a rolling two year period. So if they meet it in 16 & 19 they're technically in compliance.

I think the minimum should be a 30 million dollar budget if arbitrary numbers are what dictates the level a team can compete at.

Maybe usm should stop being poor or go to FCS.

I actually agree. our attendance sucks. needs vast improvement. If we can't get 15k there, that's really, really sad.

Agreed, but it's been better this year - remember that our numbers are based off of tickets scanned and not tickets sold, AND the scanners haven't been working properly. Stands have looked close to full for all of our home games so far.

Or tickets "distributed"... meaning printing free tickets. The reason attendance requirements can't be enforced.
