Other than Navy, they have no natural affinities with AAC schools, and they have no trouble putting together good schedules as an independent. Also, for obvious reasons, Army likes to play a geographically national schedule, they play a smattering of G5 from across the country.

And, this could create internal AAC problems, as I would think that Navy would carefully scrutinize any arrangement proposed between Army and the AAC, and would likely be quite upset if they felt that Army was somehow being given benefits that they, as AAC members, aren't getting.

Almost everything you posted is wrong, as usual. Have you even looked at their schedule? Also they were a member with most of the current aac schools and got obliterated annually.

Actually, everything I said was right. As usual, you are filled with nonsense.

Why would either Army or the American want this arrangement? Though there could be some positives for both parties, the negatives for both would far outweigh the positives.

If Ginger Baker was not one of rock's five greatest drummers ... would he at least be in the Top 10?

The AAC could schedule an annual 2 for 1 with UConn. It fills 3 weeks of the conference's late season schedule and throws a life raft to UConn scheduling-wise.

UConn can find its own life raft now that they jumped ship from the AAC. 03-nutkick 03-nutkick 03-nutkick 03-nutkick 03-nutkick 03-puke 03-puke 03-puke 03-puke 03-puke 05-ban 05-ban 04-wine

This is a nonsensical thread so I’m addressing the important stuff here.

Ginger Baker was like Hendrix: someone who changed the course of instrument playing in rock music. He was influentially a giant. Have others surpassed him technically? Sure, but they’re boring and make bland music.

I'm not sure anyone in rock has surpassed Baker technically. He's not my favorite drummer - IMO, both Moon and Bonham were more influential and just sounded better - but technically he's almost jazz great level.

We could argue order all day but it's hard to deny these mentioned and Neil Peart are in the the top 5 greatest rock drummers of all time. I think filling that 5th spot is tough though. A lot come to mind but none stand out like these in my mind.

Charlie Watts for pure longevity.
