App fans

Phew, you must not have here the first two years of the transition for App/GS

Those first years we thought the App fans were the restrained ones because GaSo was full bore and giving GaSt an extra helping too.

Last home game 2015 AState-TXST got boring and after half crowd was so sparse had great cell connection and ended up watching quite a bit of the drubbing that Georgia State was supposed to receive in Stateboro.

Well, if we finally have some UL fans on board with this sentiment, is there any other fan base hanging onto the thoughts COOSA being a step up? I could possibly see how the Lousiana schools and Texas State could benefit, but generally speaking, I think most of here consider this to be the best conference for our schools outside of the AAC.

For the Cajuns it’s about 4 schools. We have a long history with LaTurd and USM. Rice because Houston is a huge alumni center for the Cajuns and WKU basketball.

Other than that it’s not advantageous for us to move. If those programs would schedule long term deals with the Cajuns it would be best for all involved, but egos get in the way.

So what are you doing here, if if's not patting yourselves on the back acting as if you all are a cut above other programs that are struggling? South started their program just 10 years ago and made a coaching change just a year ago. Things will take time to improve as the "cupboard" was practically empty at the change. Not making any excuses, but that is just the way it is.

Lol I love the **** talk and bragging rights, I haven’t been around for long, but I’m here to stay. As for a going to CUSA yea that’s a step down, is there some teams I would like to be in a conference with that are in CUSA you bet your ass I wish we could play LaTech, Rice, USM, Houston, Tulane every year. Do I wish they would be in our conference yea, would I trade App State, Troy, Georgia Southern for a more western conference hell no.... would I trade some other teams for teams I’d like to play...maybe so.

After seeing Louisiana in person last year, I was impressed with their size, especially on their Oline. they pounded the ball really well, and Napier is a really good coach. I believe our home field advantage really helped us win those games.

I feel that App St is still the standard in the Belt. A win against Georgia Southern would be huge for this team but a win against App(maybe in the title game) would be better.
