We lost on the field, but we also lost 2-3 RBs in the process. That's how we ended up being 1 dimensional. Their secondary couldn't stop our offense in the 2nd half and our secondary couldn't stop theirs either.

Good game Troy. We needed that one more than you guys, trust me. You'll be fine. If our O can keep this up, we will be too. Btw, I'd much rather play you guys than most (if not all) of the teams in CUSA.

Pretty sure losing by 5 pts is not considered getting your ass beat. However, losing 55-0 is an ass whooping.

As much as I hate losing Troy will bounce back. We kicked ourselves in the foot tonight. Mental errors and mistakes. That was a good southern miss team that came in and had two games underneath them compared to our one. Saw a lot of good things and liked how we kept fighting until the end. Kaleb was more comfortable as the game went on. Need to get more pressure on the QB and our DB’s.....they need to get it together. We couldn’t get off the field on third down.

Everyone tell your offenses to just blow air in The general direction of our defense and you’ll most likely score a TD. It looks to be that easy this season.

I doubt you will see another QB/ WR group that matches USM in the SBC. Not trying to discredit other SBC teams, but our QB is accurate and we have 4 WRs that are very good, 2 will be in NFL. If we had a running game, we would be a very good team.

That said, I doubt USM will see a QB in CUSA as good as Troy's. Maybe Fine from UNT, but the Troy QB looked really good last night.

It was definitely an advantage that USM had the 2nd game experience coming into Troy.

The Troy fans posting on the CUSA board have shown a lot of class.

I agree, esp the WR combo with Watkins and Adams is unique. No SBC team can match this. Abraham is a solid QB but some SBC teams also have solid QBs.

Glad we are avoiding USM next year. Watkins and Adams should be gone by 2021 when we play again. Don't want to face these guys again. USM's team is still relatively young, you will be pretty tough next year, a potential Top 25 team.

Troy QB Barker played well considering it was only his second game after his injury, but he could also hide behind an experienced OL. Anyways, I think offensively we'll be fine, just need to fix our Defense.

Why the hate? I have much respect for ASU. For what it's worth, many USM fans have been wondering about Buster Faulkner as our OC. Well, he won some of us over yesterday. Now we are scratching our heads over our defense. Lindsey is a great offensive coach, so Troy doing what they did, didn't come as a surprise. Best of luck to the Red Wolves and Trojans the rest of the season. I look forward to watching the game between those two teams.
