2016 3-9
2017 11-3
2018 5-7

One fluky season running the Briles offense. He leaves and its back to mediocrity.

What about Auburn?

2007: 9-4
2008: 5-7
2009: 8-5
2010: 14-0
2011: 8-5
2012: 3-9

Of course they did go back to the title game in 2013 and had the undefeated season in 2004, but that 2010 season just stands out.

That 0-12 sticks out like a sore thumb.... Team has gone 62-29 last 7 years and 12 of those 29 losses were in the 2015 season.

Changing of the guard from traditional O'Leary football that did not recruit Florida heavily to Frost and Heupal recruiting Florida with a fast paced offense. Danny White was a great hire.

It was O'Leary's second 0-12 season.

Cincinnati's 2010 season was very fluky. Only 3 wins over FBS schools, but oddly enough 2 of them were over our biggest rivals (Louisville and Miami).

This wasn't a bad team. It only lost to top-10 Oklahoma by 2 points (31-29) & #25 NC State by 11 points (30-21). But we got hammered in Big East play, which is odd because that was the Big East's worst season.

8 juniors & seniors on this team played in the NFL. 3 are still in the NFL in 2019 (the Kelce brothers and Derek Wolfe). So the talent was there.

It wasn't like we lost a ton of talent off previous year's 12-1 team. 3 NFL draftees, including the QB Tony Pike. But Pike had been injured a lot, so the 2010 starter (Zach Collaros) had started 4 games & thrown for 1400 yards the year before. Collaros never made the NFL, but was very talented; he's still a starter in the CFL today.
