Facebook Live... boy we've hit the big time LOL. Maybe next week we can distribute the game via CD with free 7 day AOL subscription.

You guys think Ohio will bring some fans? This should be a popular game for both teams, right?

They did last time, I would say maybe 1500 fans, actually surprised me when I was walking to the stadium. That was 2014.

The OU Alumni Association is hosting a Bobcat Bash in the parking lot of the Marshall Sports Medicine Building. All-you-can-eat buffet plus they're serving beer so I suppose that should draw a few folks to Huntington.

Ohio U has one of the better marching bands in college football. They usually bring their “Marching 110” and that makes their presence seem larger than most other visitors.

Wow, being that close one would think they would bring a larger group. In March I had occasion to drive from Huntington to Athens. Not a bad drive at all---actually pretty easy.

You can do it in 90 minutes at a leisurely pace and it's a scenic drive along the Ohio River for a good part of the trip. I don't think my group has ever not gone to Athens when we play up there. Marshall always takes several thousand to those games.

MAC fans don't really exist and the ones that are fans don't travel.

They typically clear out of their own stadium after the band plays at half. The football game is the steak, but they're only eating steak to have an excuse to use the A-1.

There are some true football fans in Athens and those are the ones that will travel. But the majority are more into the band. But decade after decade of never finishing out and winning a title will do that to a lot of fanbases. Not trying to stir anything up and they've kicked our asses a lot recently, just posing an observation about the fans, having been there a bunch.

Especially if you go up on the Ohio side.

Penalty declined.

We are playing in our first Saturday game of the season ourselves, having played our first two on FRI.

So I guess it’s game day now...
