Improved. It was a cream puff academically in the 70s and 80s. Much better today.

The issue with rankings like that is schools have different departments. Like Shenandoah is known mostly for their Conservatory/music, so they're highly rated in that but I can't imagine a business degree from SU is better than one from Richmond

Any degree from any school is better than a degree from RU.

Lots of thoughtful replies on this thread. I referenced the WSJ report in the Top 80’s thread in Off Topic. There 15/20 schools where name makes difference. The rest are in category entitled “Who really cares?” It’s a racket.
