I have a good friend that is a big Jets fan, so I've always rooted for them when convenient. Their turnaround this year is something that I didn't see coming, and what I thought was going to be a division dominated by Buffalo has turned into a really good division. I'm happy to see New England at the bottom, but I am worried about Buffalo relative to their expectations. It seems like that taken a step back this year, and from the outside their minor struggles gives me pause given the impact that Daboll has had in NY.

In tanking news, Chicago currently has the #2 overall pick and three other 3-win teams won yesterday. The Bears also have a really tough schedule to end the season, so they're aren't many wins to be had. I'm looking at Detroit team that is QB-needy and salivating at the thought of trading back for two top 15 picks this year, plus a 3rd and another 1st rounder in 2024.

Crazy that no other division in football has more than 2 teams over .500, but the NFC and AFC east's the entire division is over .500.

And it's unusual for both divisions. AFC East was dominated by NE for almost two decades and the NFC East has been overrated for as long as I can remember. Both divisions are respectable, but the NFC overall is pretty bad.

It's December, so the over the top predictions for Dallas are in full force today on ESPN. I have no idea why they ask Michael Irving questions about Dallas, but apparently I'm supposed to believe the Cowboys are the best team in the NFL and blowing out the 4-win "very dangerous" Colts is a statement win. The league is on notice.

We lost CB Brown last night for the year. Hopefully someone can step up and fill in. They need to keep focusing on better discipline if they want to knock off the Eagles and win the NFC.

Yep but we played them with Rush at the helm so it’s a wash. Philly is good and we will see them again.

What about the Pats Hoops? Do you feel good about the future or do you think you need to upgrade your skill positions a bit?

I honestly don't know what the hell is going on there. It's hard to tell what they have when the play calling is as terrible as it's been.
