It's confirmed: Touchdown.

14 point game. Glad the team is still out there making effort.

When Glass has had time he has looked good. Offense better after abandoning the run.

RE: Game Day Kentucky
Kentucky feels the need to score on our backups in garbage time... and do so. Great...

Rob Rubick is laying into Mark Stoops on the radio broadcast. Calling him classless.

I've seen a lot of that. With 3 minutes left Penn state threw a bomb, probably trying to improve their ranking, against buffalo. FSU did similar to us last year.

After that, EMU moves the ball all the way down to the Kentucky 10 yard line in because UK wouldn't take a knee.

Good 2-minute drill drive, but we ran out of time. It's over.

So annoying. Georgia will probably do the same to them, so that’ll be enjoyable to watch.

We showed some heart in the 2nd half after maybe the worst half of football we’ve had in years. I feel a little bit better about the offense, but the defense has a long way to go. Too many big plays and costly penalties. Hopefully we rebound against Illinois.

I think my reaction is hoping Kevin McGill is okay.

Did anyone see if he returned? I don't think he did. Freddie McGee was out there most of the remainder of the game. McGill put some weight on his leg on his way to the bench, so hopefully it isn't anything serious.

Time to move on and get a W at Illinois.

I also wonder about the gambling angle.

KY covered with that late TD.

I lost a huge parlay because of it lol.

EMU is capable of beating Illinois and winning the MAC, but the defense seems to have taken a step back. EMU might’ve won tonight with past Creighton defenses.

It’s very rare EMU loses by more than 1 possession.

Both the offensive and defensive lines appears spotty
More holding falls on the O Line than normal

Cameras and mics caught some or what the conversation was between Creighton and Stoops after the game. Stoops said "My guy is out for the year, so we had to get him(the backup QB) some snaps."

Yeah there seemed to be a lengthy conversation that didn't look totally friendly

I wonder what CC was doing the last minute of the game it was saying to Stoops **** you in a football way it was sending a message

That conversation seemed very awkward. Does anybody have a clear definition of the horse collar rule? Rush did not grab Wilson by the shoulder pads. He grabbed him by the back of his shirt and spun him around which caused the injury. It was nice of CC to apologize for the QB being injured but he should not have to apologize for an illegal tackle in my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. What's the rule?

RE: Game Day Kentucky
I watched it a few times and it looked like he pulled up injured slightly before Rush even tackled him. The tackle looked clean too...even the SEC announcers agreed when they saw the replay. But I think he hurt himself before the tackle was made.

I thought the same thing but guess I was wrong.

"Horse-collar tackles: A penalty for a horse collar will now include the nameplate area of a player's jersey. Previously, the rule applied to the inside collar of the shoulder pad and jersey. "The committee recognizes that on occasion a tackler grabs the nameplate area and jerks the ball carrier down, with the same effect as if his grip was on the collar."

However for UK fans to call Rush dirty and our program dirty is just absurd. Coming from a team who has had a targeting penalty in both of their games. Knocked out Toledo's QB in week one. Injuries happen, they happen when it looks like they shouldn't and when it looks like they should sometimes they don't. Hate to see it but it is what happens in the most violent game. Also if we want to talk dirty need we just look at UK's basketball coach.

Looked like he grabbed him near the number, not the nameplate. Wonder what CCs thoughts are on this after seeing the replay.
